Roof fans

A roof fan is installed on top of a ventilation duct on the roof and extracts stale air from the building – from bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, changing rooms, stairwells or commercial premises. Because it is installed on the roof, it does not take up space indoors, and one fan can extract air from several rooms connected to the same vertical duct.

The fans in this category have a radial impeller and a single-phase motor for continuous operation, while the rain cap protects the interior from precipitation. They are fixed to the duct with a square mounting base with a round connection.

When choosing, start from the duct diameter and the required air flow rate. Roof fans are not intended for installation in chimneys of heating appliances (boilers, stoves, fireplaces).
