1. Introduction and validity
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: the Terms) govern the use of the www.akvavent.eu online shop and the purchase of products and services offered by AKVAtour d.o.o. By placing an order, the buyer confirms that they are aware of the Terms, understand them and fully accept them. The Terms are drawn up in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Slovenia and apply from the date of publication onwards.
2. Definitions
- Seller: AKVAtour d.o.o.
- Buyer: a natural or legal person who makes a purchase.
- Consumer: a buyer – a natural person who purchases outside their professional or business activity.
- Online shop: www.akvavent.eu
- Product: goods or a service offered in the online shop.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the consumer protection provisions apply exclusively to consumers.

4. Measurements, quotation and order
The buyer must provide correct and complete information for the measurements. The quotation applies exclusively to the items listed. The quotation is valid for 14 days, unless stated otherwise. Payment of the proforma invoice constitutes confirmation of the order and acceptance of these Terms. Changes to an order are possible at most 1 day after payment and only in writing.
5. Prices and payment terms
Prices are in EUR and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Payment methods: proforma invoice, cash on delivery, credit cards, PayPal and other methods listed on the website. Goods are generally dispatched after payment has been received.
VAT rates: 22% (standard rate) and 9,5% (installation in residential buildings within the limits set by law).
6. Promotional codes
Promotional codes are valid only at the time of placing an order, are not transferable or exchangeable for cash and cannot be combined with other discounts. The Seller reserves the right to cancel them.
7. Delivery
Delivery is carried out within Slovenia and the EU. The delivery cost is shown at the time of ordering. Upon receipt, the buyer must check the shipment and immediately record any damage with the carrier in writing.
8. Right of withdrawal from the contract (consumers)
A consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without stating a reason. The goods must be unused and in their original packaging. The cost of return is borne by the buyer.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal: goods made to measure or to the buyer's order; installed products; services that have already been fully performed; sealed products opened after delivery.
Exchange of goods is possible within 30 days – the value is refunded only in the form of a credit note. This 30-day goodwill exchange option is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal above. A valid withdrawal under point 8 is refunded using the same payment method you used to pay, unless you expressly agree otherwise.
9. Warranty and material defects
Products carry a warranty in accordance with the law (2–5 years). The warranty does not apply if the product was installed incorrectly, if an unauthorised person tampered with it or if the installation instructions were not followed.
The Seller reserves the right to reject a warranty claim if the buyer fails to provide proof that the installation was carried out by a professionally qualified person, where such installation is necessary for the proper functioning of the product.
A consumer may also assert a claim for material defects in accordance with the applicable legislation.
10. Limitation of liability
The Seller is not liable for damage due to improper use, for indirect or consequential damage, or for lost profit. Product photographs are for illustrative purposes only.
11. Protection of personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
12. Copyright
All website content is the property of the Seller. Copying without permission is not allowed.
13. Force majeure
The Seller is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its control (force majeure).
14. Dispute resolution
In accordance with the law governing out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes, the Seller does not recognise any out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider (IRPS) as competent. The court in Ljubljana has jurisdiction to resolve any disputes.
