Description
Self-adjusting chimney cowl for better chimney draught Ø180
The chimney cowl with wind vane is intended to protect the flue gas outlet from the effects of wind and to support better draught. It is made of acid-resistant stainless steel 1.4404 and is suitable for chimneys where temperature resistance up to 650 °C is required.
Main advantages
- Self-adjusting operation: the wind vane always turns the cowl with its back to the wind, so the wind does not interfere with the flue gas outlet.
- Less smoke backflow: the cowl orientation prevents the wind from pushing smoke back into the chimney.
- Improved draught: special recesses on the cowl create negative pressure and help with better flue gas extraction.
- Durable material: the cowl is made of acid-resistant stainless steel 1.4404 with a sheet thickness of 0.6 mm.
- Reliable rotation: it rotates on two maintenance-free ball bearings, with the balls in oil.
- For high temperatures: it is suitable for use up to 650 °C.
Use and installation
The cowl is suitable for ventilation chimneys and chimneys for firing with wood, pellets, sawdust, gas or heating oil. It is not suitable for chimneys in which pea coal is burned.
