Air purifier MC80Z with built-in Wi-Fi enables control via the Daikin Onecta app and displays air quality on the front of the unit. It is designed for rooms up to 124 m² according to NRCC calculation.
Description
Air purifier MC80Z is a floor-standing unit with built-in Wi-Fi, a colour air-quality display on the front, and control via buttons on the unit or through the Daikin Onecta app. The filtration is designed to capture larger particles, fine particles and odours.

Operation and control
The unit offers automatic mode, Turbo mode and quiet mode. The operating speed can also be selected manually, and the airflow is available in four levels: Turbo 480 m³/h, medium 210 m³/h, low 132 m³/h and quiet 84 m³/h.
The sound pressure level, measured as an average at 1 m from the unit, is: Turbo 55 dB(A), medium 34 dB(A), low 25 dB(A) and quiet 19 dB(A). Electrical power is: Turbo 80 W, medium 16 W, low 11 W and quiet 9 W.
Through the Daikin Onecta app, you can monitor the unit status, graph PM2,5, set the operating mode and speed, and schedule operation. Control is also possible directly on the unit.

The manufacturer states two coverage areas: 62 m² according to JEM 1467 and 124 m² calculated according to NRCC. The smaller figure according to JEM 1467 is the stricter reference, while the larger figure according to NRCC is also the one listed in the catalogue and the product technical data.

Filter maintenance
The pre-filter should be cleaned regularly; the manufacturer recommends approximately every two weeks. According to the manufacturer, the electrostatic HEPA filter and deodorising filter do not need to be replaced for up to ten years. Instructions for use are also included with the unit.
