• F7 class filter – a fine filter that also captures smaller particles such as pollen, fine dust and some allergens, making it a good choice for allergy sufferers and spaces with higher air-quality requirements.

Some recuperator models use a combination of both classes – a G3 filter for coarse pre-filtration and an F7 filter for fine filtration, ensuring the best possible quality of incoming air.

How often to replace the filter

Replacement frequency depends on the filter class, the building’s location and the level of pollution in the surrounding air.

• G3 filters – recommended replacement every 3-4 months.
• F7 filters – usually sufficient to replace 1-2 times a year.

• On higher floors or in rural areas, the air is generally cleaner, so filters stay usable longer.
