How it works

VIAR PRO 125 works with the help of a ceramic heat exchanger. Air from the room is exhausted outside, while the ceramic stores part of the heat. The unit then supplies fresh outdoor air and preheats it with the stored heat. The result is more balanced ventilation, without unnecessary coldness and with lower energy losses.

There are 5 operating modes available:

• Continuous supply – continuous supply of fresh air
• Continuous exhaust – continuous exhaust of air from the room
• Cyclic recovery – alternating air supply and extraction in 60/70/90-second intervals
• SMART mode – automatic switching between supply and exhaust when the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors reaches 3 °C
• Night mode – quiet operation at the lowest speed

All modes except Night mode offer 3 fan speeds.

Automatic functions and safety

The device is designed for as worry-free use as possible. The humidity sensor can automatically switch to exhaust when relative humidity exceeds 70%. The temperature sensor and freeze protection help protect the heat exchanger from icing: if the outdoor sensor detects less than 0 °C for more than 60 seconds, a 90-second exhaust cycle is triggered. Overheating protection is also built in.

Automatic dampers also enable passive ventilation: at zero speed they remain open for natural airflow, and when the unit is switched off they close completely.
